Week Two Reflection

• Children cannot decompose numbers. 40+5=45 no problem but 45 is made up of what...unknown.
• Need to think about different ways of representing place value.
• Have started the one minute challenge...this week doubles as fast as we can.
• Children seem to have the idea of subitising quite quickly and using this when I used 10's frames as flash cards. Pleasing to see.
• Homework given on Monday. To be returned on Thursday...incentive, treasure box.
